Privacy Policy

Peery Sports Book ("PSB", "we", "us") is a private sports pool application used by invited participants. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information — including text message notifications.

When you create an account and participate in PSB pools, we collect:

• Your name and email address (used to create your account)
• Your phone number (used only to send you SMS notifications about the pools you join)
• Payment handles you choose to provide (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal) so other players know how to pay you if you win
• Your picks and game activity within the app

We use your information solely to operate the sports pool:

• To authenticate you and display your profile
• To record and display your picks
• To send you SMS notifications about pool activity (see below)
• To facilitate payments between pool participants

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share your information with any third party for marketing purposes.

By entering your phone number in your profile and clicking Save, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Peery Sports Book. These messages may include:

• Notifications that picks are open for a new week or tournament
• Reminders when your picks are due and have not been submitted
• Announcements from the pool commissioner

Message frequency: Varies — typically 1–3 messages per week during active seasons.

Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any text message at any time, or remove your phone number from your profile settings in the app. Reply HELP for assistance.

Mobile numbers will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your information is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL). We do not store payment card numbers or financial account credentials. Payment handles (e.g., your Venmo username) are stored only as plain text for display to other pool participants.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Service providers — we use Twilio to deliver SMS messages and Supabase to store data. These providers process your information only as needed to provide their services.
• Other pool participants — your display name, picks (after lock), and payment handles are visible to other members of the pool.
