Acceptance

By creating an account and participating in Peery Sports Book ("PSB"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Eligibility

PSB is a private, invite-only platform. Participation is limited to individuals who have been personally invited by the commissioner. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

Nature of the Platform

PSB is a private recreational sports pool among friends and acquaintances. Entry fees and prize payouts are conducted informally between participants. PSB does not operate as a licensed gambling service and does not hold or manage funds on behalf of users.

Entry Fees & Payouts

  • Entry fees are set by the commissioner for each game and season.
  • Fees are paid directly between participants using the payment handles listed on each user's profile (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal).
  • Payouts are determined by the commissioner based on final standings and are distributed directly between participants.
  • PSB does not process, hold, or guarantee any payments.

Picks & Game Rules

  • Picks submitted after the stated lock time for a game or week will not be accepted.
  • It is each participant's responsibility to submit picks before the deadline.
  • Game rules are posted within the app for each pool. The commissioner has final authority on any rules disputes.
  • Technical issues (e.g., app downtime) do not automatically entitle a participant to a pick extension. Contact the commissioner.

SMS Notifications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive automated text messages from PSB including pick reminders and pool announcements. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or remove your phone number from your profile settings.

Conduct

Participants agree to engage with the platform and other participants respectfully. The commissioner reserves the right to remove any participant from any pool at any time for any reason, including unsportsmanlike conduct or failure to pay entry fees.

Limitation of Liability

PSB is provided as-is for recreational use among friends. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the commissioner and platform are not liable for any disputes related to payments, picks, scoring, or outcomes.

Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
